Signed up for beta?

Post » Sun May 03, 2009 8:56 am

I filled out the information card on the official site (http://fallout-on-line.com/) but when it tries to transfer me to the forums I get timed out. When I go back to the site it prompts me to fill out the card again. I never got an email confirmation for it but I did get one for registering on this forum.

How do I know if the information card actually worked?

I'm guessing since the site registration and the forum registration are separate, that signing up for the newsletter is the account that they'll most likely send you the confirmation from - and since they just turned it on - I'd give them some time :)

i was suprised how little infomation they needed, when i tryed to get into the Final Fantasy XIV Beta i had to give them like 4 pages of info ranging from my Adress to my fave character from the series to my computer specs .

Good Job gamesas for keeping it nice and simple ;)

I just signed up for the Beta about 20 minutes ago. Went pretty smooth for me even though my net connection is very slow by most other Countries Standards. My net connection is 512kbs but it never even gets to half that speed. Anyway I then joined here I have Fallout 1 and 2. Are we allowed to know if Fallout online will have the same interface as Fallout 2? Or will it look more like Fallout 3? Just really curious about that. Also very excited about there being a Fallout MMO. I couldn't believe it when I first read about it half an hour ago. But it's really going to happen = D. This will also be the first MMO Beta test I have signed up to. So I am very excited.

when i signed up using firefox, i got the blank boxes as well. i used google chrome and "re-signed up" and got the boxes to populate properly, i would recommend you try again with a different browser and sign up again "just in case"

It is implimented... the problem is most likely that there are so many people trying to load the page that everything loads extreamly slow.

You just have to wait longer, or try at a later time to load the whole thing. I started to try and load the page at evening here in Sweden, and for several hours it would not really work, and I have a 10mb/10mb fiberoptic broadband connection. It was not untill like 6am in the morning that I managed to load the page with no problam at all, and sign up. :P

Are you sure about this? Because I have only signed up for this page one time, and I can write here in the forum... and on the main page my name is shown up at the top of the page, when I am logged in.

But will the beta also be for ps3?? If it's so, did I have to fill in the "postcard" for the beta with my psn's account's mail?

It took me several tries in order for the newsletter / beta card to successfully redirect to this forum, most of the time it ended in a time out. I think it's just so many fans of Fallout that are making a pilgrimage to the site in order to sign up! I know I did the moment I heard word that gamesas had opened up a newsletter / Beta tab. I'm glad to hear that they are still going full steam on this project.

Fallout Online will release for the PC, I don't think it will see a console release.
