SIGS How to get working?

I couldn't find anywhere else to put this:

I have made a sig for Brink:

For some reason i cannot put it in the sigs yet is says that i can have images of any size.
Please help as Sigs is a all time passion of mine and i look to do it for other community members.

Images in posts and signatures are disabled here, unfortunately. You'll just have to write something creative. :)

Edit: for the record, your link seems to be broken anyway...

Only awesome people are allowed to use the image tags

For example, I can use them, but choose not to as I don't like to brag about how awesome I am. To blend in with all the rest of you I just use url tags as to not make you feel less worthy :P

(hint: use [ url=****]My sig[/ url] as it's the closest you can get due to the forum implementation of bbcode)

Fixed the link but still nothing.
Why do they say we can have images then not allow BBcode images?

Because it's easier to moderate a forum with the tag disabled, supposedly

So essentially i need to be on here nearly every day posting in tonnes of threads before i can have a sig that is purely made to display my ability to make sigs for others playing brink that they cant even use on this forum?
Short question. How can i get images in my sig?

Admin types may be able to (though not that I've seen), but normal users can't post them at all.

All kidding aside, yes, members can't post actual images here or have sigs. Though you can make your avatar as super duper awesome as you like.

Unfortunately I can't take credit for this. A long time ago a wise Welsh man showed me how to do it. His devotion to Wales knew no end, and posted a great replication of the Welsh flag

Glad to see another person has picked up the secret art of BGSF image posting. I approve.

If anyone knows who the Welsh forummer was, tell me. I honestly can't remember. Their rendition of the Welsh flag was truly awe-inspiring (I don't think they are on here anymore :sad:)

some tips:

If you have a repeating color that covers the majority of everything, you only have to call it once
[background = color ][color = color]

Anything not explicitly colored with other tags will be colored that color

You can do this because bbcode works from the outside in, when multiple tags do the conflicting things, the most local version takes precedence. Doing this saves you quite a bit of effort

Yeah, way too long, and the resolution of the picture didn't even wind up being the same as it was in the post preview for some reason. :brokencomputer:

I originally did, but when I posted it and saw that the image was a different size than it was in the post preview, I added a size tag for each line as an attempt to fix it.
