Ever accidentally forgotten to save after a hard quest?

Then you die by some kind of insignificant enemy because you're low on everything. Then have to go back to the very hard quest and start all over from the very beginning.

Yes. It is very common with the older Fallouts. Lesson is save often.

I forgot what a challenge this game was. So I underestimated how much it could kick my ass. I have no ammo. I have no stimpacks. He's addicted to Med X, running low on that too. I have no doctor's bag. Running out of food. Armor just broke.

Completeling that quest was a [censored] miracle he survived. Only to get killed by a Gecko. And have to start halfway in the middle of the hard quest that took most of his scarce resources away.

What level were you suppose to be for the Come Fly With Me quest anyway?

After it happens to you once, you find yourself constantly worrying about saving. Well, at-least I do.

That quest is optional. Due to the fact I play DiD, I save it for later due to its difficulty.

I reccomend doing that or lowering the difficulty if you are having as much trouble as you described
