It shows in the bottom right sometimes. can't figure out what it's supposed to do. How did I get it? Certainly doesn't seem to stop me being killed quite often

You get it after a long death streak to help you out a bit.

HA! Me two. Private game for players that die more than 7 times per match and have at least a 1:3 kill:death ratio. Glad to hear I'm not alone.

If I get more than 1 kill a match, it's been a good game for me, even when i try to sit in a corner and hide - no shooting - they still find me
