Hi,

I didn’t even start The Silver Shroud quest till after I completed the man quest.

Also progressed to the point John Hancock wants to be a companion.

But in the Shroud mission where I have to talk to Hancock, there is no option for the mission, he just keeps asking when he can be a companion.

Can’t kill him, nothing doing........Little help!

1) Wrong forum

2) Try asking him to be a companion then doing it.

Yup i had exactly the same. Was never able to finish that quest.

Maybe try dressing up then talking to him?

As someone already asked, are you dressed as the silver shroud?

the quest says to dress as the SH.

Let him join you as a companion.

Then talk to him.

Success.
