simple key in hla oad : III

I finally figured out how to properly get the key to unlock the chest with the Dwemer ware - with a gigantic hint from a friend - but now that I have the key from Ra'Zhid's body, I can't equip it. I click the weapon hand and the key simply returns to my inventory. AM I missing something?

You don't "equip" keys, just click on the trunk.

Thanks for the help - didn't think it would be that simple - duh!
