simple or possibly hard question to answer

I haven't played Oblivion in a long long time, I do remember creatures attacking NPC's it seems like though and I know guards would attack anything that was a enemy to yourself it seems like. The motive behind this question is to figure out if in Skyrim I spawn a dragon with the construction set around player enemy NPC's or other creatures if the dragon will by default without any scripting or behavior editing attack. Dragons in Skyrim are very impressive, there none scripted advanced AI, there physics etc. Its a creature that you want to at one point have fun with in the creation kit.

Obviously Skyrim is not released so no way of knowing what all dragons will be none scriptively hostile to, but if I knew how creatures default behavior was in Oblivion id get a better understanding. Like I know that some creatures in Oblivion will kill other animals like deer, wolves etc but I am wondering if I just used the construction set to spawn a clanfar (whatever there called) with another creature like a deadra spider lady will they attack each other or ignore eachother?

A shorter possibly easier version of my question: Are the different types of creatures in Oblivion hostile toward eachother?

Yes they belong to different factions so if they meet they fight. Someone may elaborate on this but I′ll just give the short answer

http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Factions

check out the A-Z at the bottom of this page, everything in a faction ( or two ), with differing dispositions toward other factions. Some surprises here, necromancers hating liches for example, but obviously being friendly toward other undead.

They are quite often set up so creatures you find in the same dungeon are friendly, so goblins don't attack rats, vampires don't attack ghosts etc. They had to set up some pretty bizarre ones, ' Nobody Hates Deer' for example, which is specifically to stop the guys in Paradise attacking them, and you have the mistake where foresters fight each other, because they have the AI set to kill deer, but another forester seeing one kill a deer attacks him, because deer are in the same faction as horses, and his AI registers killing a horse as a crime. It can get complicated.
