How do you feel about fighting? There will be tight situations so do you want to be stealthy and as non-violent as possible or be able to fight your way out when necessary?
I think I would love to be able to fight my way out, but avoid situations when possible. Maybe Bow and arrows would be best.
Also, how do you feel about magic? There is an RPG connection between scholars and intelligence based skills but it isn't a rule.
I think it would be cool to know Alchemy and maybe a little illusion.
It would fit with the trading, and avoiding situations when possible.
Along with book reading, do you want to explore ruins for archaeological study?
I think a little dungeon crawling would be cool, but nothing special. Enough to handle the Seyda Neen cave down by the Strider, and maybe two to three dungeons. But I would like to travel light. I don't want any large war hammers and such
I am a scholar after all.
One thing in particular, what Great House do you see joining, if any? Also any guilds you think you would like you join or avoid.
If there is a traders guild I don't know of I would like to join that!
But other then that, my scholar is not a thief, he is able to get out of trouble and avoid enemies and bandits. But has no reason to steal. Though a good book that the shop keeper won't part with for a fair enough price might discover a few pieces of gold in place of where he last saw the book. :whistling:
