Is Simple Seasons compatible with Vurt's Skies & Weather

Post » Tue May 08, 2012 11:29 am

I like the idea that Simple Seasons changes the weather percentages, but i'm currently using vurt's Hi-Res Skies & Weathers. Are the two compatible with each other? I also notice there's a few replacers out there that change the look of snow flakes (Gemini's Realistic Snowflakes by Daddy_Gemini and Snowflakes! by Pjstaab) both located here on PES. They have received great reviews so i'd like to try one of them. Will these also be compatible with the two mods mentioned above?

Not sure I know which mod it is, but I doubt it. It's most likely that it works by changing references in-game from normal trees to snow covered trees and so on. With Vurt's trees it will look absolutely hideos when his new trees change into old vanilla ones in some different colour.

Oh as for the snow, yes, it only changes the texture of the snow flakes, so it shouldn't cause any invalid mechanics in your game.

I′m using http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=8741. it changes the climatic patterns of the game. Don′t change the tress or another meshes.

The Vurt Skies changes the textures and requires alterations in the Morrowind.iniI file to make the color of the lights acting more realistically.

They don′t conflitct.
