I personally purchased an Nvidia GTX580 card and upgraded my PC for Crysis 2.

€ryTek promised me that Crysis 2's graphics would be much better than those of Crysis 1. They also said that Crysis 2 was developed with a PC focus and that it would utilise DX11.

But these were all lies! Since I founded my purchase of a $600 graphics card on promises which were not kept, I feel that I am due compensation.

Is anyone else in the same boat as me?

Since €ryTek only cares about profits now, let's hit them where it will hurt them. Let's get the ball rolling to start a class action for compensation against CryTek!

You'll need to organise and make a group sue - otherwise you won't stand a chance.
So you'd need to group up in one country and try to solve it in a one court.

Actually the Graphics ARE better

on Crysis 1 i would get an average of 1.5 to 2.5 Million polygons

on Crysis 2 i get about 2 to 3 Million polygons

on in some way it's true that the Graphics are "better"

This is what Crytek says to you about your problem

If you feel you need to be compensated take the card back to the store for a refund instead of complaining about it. Crytek didn't make you buy the card, you bought the card with your free will. If Crytek said "You need to buy this card to play the game" and then made the game playable with out the card sure, thats a different story, but you went out and bought the card for your PC that can be used for many other things and claiming you just bought it for Crysis 2 just so you could run it.

The point is that €ryTek took a big dump on PC gamers and we can't get back at them by just withholding our money for the PC version because the console gamers will still buy it.

So in addition, we should sue €ryTek since money is what they really care about now, rather than innovation and pushing boundaries.

you people are retarded they already said BEFORE the game was released that it would not use dx11 and it would get patched in later.
on the packaging for the game it does not mention dx11 therefore you have no reason to sue since its not legally false advertising.
since you were stupid enough to buy the game without reading the packaging this is YOUR fault.

nobody paid any extra for any content it was offered free of charge to people who pre-ordered the game.

I wouldn't mind a refund;) I downloaded the beta and everything worked fine for me so I spent $60 on the game. They took some things out and now I cant even load the game. I did all the updates like they said and still nothing.

It just makes me made I see a ton of post about problems and nobody from Crytek on here trying to fix them or let people know when they will be fixed.
