Sincerely dissapointed...

Hello :)

I have owned Oblivion for the PC for almost 2 years now, and have enjoyed almost to the point of spontaneous combustion. Which is why I was dissapointed to find that when I set up my Computer again to play Oblivion, (I had it in storage for a while) my moniter had no signal. At first I thought it was just the moniter crapping out on me finaly. But when I removed my graphics card and rebooted the computer using the On-board graphics, it worked fine. It seems that whenever the graphics card is inserted into the computer, even when the moniter is connected to the onboard graphics, the moniter will not respond or show any picture whatsoever. The computer seems to turn on fine, but the moniter shows nothing.

System:

Microsoft Windows XP
Professional
Version 2002
Service Pack 2

Computer
Intel®
Celeron® CPU 2.80GHz
2.79 GHz, 1.00 GB of RAM

I reformated my Operating System, hoping it would help, but nothing seems to work. I also opened up the casing while the computer was on and checked to see if the fan on the graphics card was working, and it is.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Did you install the software/drivers for the video card? If so, well, it's time to get a new video card.
