I'm trying a melee build for this playthrough and have run into a problem today.

I'm using a legendary deathclaw gauntlet and it seems whenever I try to do multiple attacks in VATS it only performs 1 hit but still uses all my AP, I should be able to do 4 hits.

I have the blitz perk so I can hit multiple targets quite a distance apart for 1 hit each no problem but whenever I try to hit the same target more than once it only does one hit, exits VATS and has cost all my AP.
