Single dweller stuck at 10% happiness

Post » Sun Feb 14, 2016 11:07 am

Everyone in my vault currently has a hapiness of 99 to 100%, except for this one guy! I've tried everything. I put him in a room and successfully rushed it, made him make a baby with a lady. Killed him in the wasteland and revived him. Still stuck at 10%.

He is one of my wasteland explorers and always had a happiness of around 95%. I collected his stuff one day, healed and radawayed him and over 5 minutes his happiness just dropped to 10%. Nothing I did boosted it.

This same exact thing happened to me. Twice! The happiness just tanked and never went back up no matter what I tried.

Maybe the wasteland finally got to them. It can happen you know. Going out for hours/days at a time, finding nothing......just an endlessly screwed up world........some things out there do not react well with dwellers....

I'm guessing this is intended. There are people who will never recover from what they've seen. They will never be happy again, and want to see the end. Help guide them along.

Lmao. The answers here are the best.

I think you should practice some euthanasia with this particular dweller. You must end his pain, until he becomes a Feral Ghoul.

Yup, classic PTSD. Either put him in the hospital/medbay QUICKLY or separate him from the others because he might snap and kill the overseer...

I have a great reluctance to kill off my dwellers, I'm such a softie. But yeah, breaking my 100% happiness is just the one thing I won't tolerate. :stare: Be happy or die!

Wow, I can't get my dwellers below 10% happiness.

"have you tried turning them off and on again"? ... let them die and revive.

Or let them fornicate... usually helps too :tops:

Yea, I have tried both of those. It's crazy. Thanks for the suggestion though

I had this too.

Build a single room (i.e. diner) and rush it until the dweller dies. Revive the dweller and the problem should be solved.
