Single Feature You Would've Most Wanted in ESO

Post » Sat Mar 22, 2014 10:59 pm

ESO is a great game, and it shares some things with past MMOs and innovates in others. What feature would you have liked to be included that won't be in launch? Explain.

.

In my case, I would've like content to scale to my level. So if I wanted to to take a boat to a level 35 area and do those quests first then I could. This would allow them to make epic quests that span various zones and use various locales, not making everything feel so compact and local. Even though it'd be cumbersome, it should be do-able with phasing.

What's yours?

The option to either play as a Lich, or become one. Bonus points for being able to join Mannimarco and the "Daedric controlled Empire" as a fourth faction. Power of Bal's faction balanced by the fact that they can only defend, and at that, must constantly defend while fighting the other three factions at once. Could be accomplished by some big late-game expansion that everyone is so willing to pay monthly subscriptions for. I don't want to hear any excuses.

Canon is irrelevant since this whole war is a big mystery and no one a century later knows what happened anyway.

If that's too much to ask, I'll settle for more daedra summon spells. Necromanctic summoning would be swell too. At least throw a summon Dremora spell somewhere. He's been my loyal minion since way back when.

Black hair for Altmer.

No, I'm not tired of whining about it. Every beta I complain about it and I write an essay about it in every beta survey.

Sandbox features like the single player games have. Housing, Marriage and some the single player games don't have. Like treasure hunting when finding a map and having to dig that spot up, ect.

Think I'd have most wanted to see was not being required to enter single-player-only instancing, when a players are otherwise grouped.

And no, difficulty has nothing to do with it - my character curb-stomped Gutstripper without effort - we want the option to remain grouped.

I want the hair color. And my characters are all female. How that altmer in my sig looks is irrelevant, only the hair color matters (though I want it to be even darker).

We already have everything in that list Except for housing, but the devs already said that it will be ingame in the future.

Dueling.

Biggest missing feature from the game. A tragedy in my opinion. The lack of this feature will significantly worsen my play experience.

1. An arena or instance based pvp.

2. Player owned shops that, when active look like a small market tent/station.

3. Dueling

4. Capes

Pickpocket is one of the primary thief skills in Skyrim, there should be *some* representation for it in PvP. You don't have to have it open up an enemy's whole loot table but maybe just add gold if you successfully activate or use a skill on an enemy/NPC while sneaking and extra items as you level it. Other than that housing, auction houses, and armor customizations, guild / faction cloaks or something.

I would like to be able to equip more then 5 skills at once. I had a real hard time wanting to learn anything else since I could only equip 5. Seems odd since you get skills for just about everything, i.e., weapons, armor, guilds, world, class, etc but can only use so little. I think it's a waste of most skills.
