Maybe there is just a bonus to wearing all the pieces of the same suit of armor and somehow they were trying to not say that and it came out sounding like there were only suits and not pieces.

I think Todd may have been joking at that part
also he said it came as one suit not that it was one suit
and we have seen dovahkiin with different pauldrons and chest pieces so it is already pretty much confirmed

It thought that it had already been confirmed that Skyrim would not have a single suit armor system similar to Fallout 3, if it does then RPG's really have died with Bethesda taking a similar approach to many other game developers.

I'm pretty sure Bethesda would not be stupid enough to take one of the greatest aspects of Fantasy Rpg's and ruin it.

If they were that stupid no one and I mean no one would play their games anymore besides look at the poll anyway it wont happen maby it will be more like Morrowind?

So do I. I'm getting concerned now...

I don't see what's wrong with all the other awnsers. Nothing wrong with what we get from a mammoth and being told we can carry more than in oblivion.

i know the part about the mammoth meat seems to be true.... because they have a picture with a bunch of different kinds of meat and one of them is a chopped up trunk.

If you are a serious RPG gamer, customisation, specialisation, collecting, style, diversity, optionality etc. are very important.

Character customization is a major part of the Elder Scrolls series. Many consider it far more important than fighting dragons.

Plus, that doesn't even make sense, since we've seen the same the same pauldron/round-the-body thing in about 10 different costumes already.

I'm defeating the dragon because of who I am. Everyone has a different view on who their dragonborn is and should have the appropriate armour to express who they are.

Stop Whining and crying over armour slots. Why would some of you say: "I'm not buying Skyrim becuase of the single peice armour slots!" Okay than don't buy it no one cares, if you really want to miss out on the quests, factions, Daedric Princes, main quest, story, lore, exploring, ect. that Skyrim brings and not buy it just becuase of armour being a single peice than you're missing out. If thats true about the armour than I will be upset but I will keep in mind that its only a video game and there's still tons more + over - and way more stuff to do in the game. ^_^

Just saying, people know who their character is in their minds, they need to express it through their equipment. That's the way I see it. In RPG's atleast.

Edit: Didn't mean to quote.

Okay, but there are those of us who are going to still play the game. Are we allowed to criticize certain aspects of it? It seems like anytime someone has any sort of critical viewpoint of this game the thread descends into a "THEN DON'T PLAY IT GAAAAWD" debacle.

I still want to play the game, but in all honest I will be very disappointed in a one suit armor system.
