Site links from pinned thread: they work?

Post » Wed May 09, 2012 12:36 am

Looks like they're consolidating the sites into subdomains. Not sure what else they've got in mind, though the announcement post does seem a bit in the way it's worded. Can't put my finger on it, something just seems a bit odd about it

You best hold off on this for a bit, something seems to have changed over at Nexus.

Forums (which are still accessible) refer to virus-like behavior in downloads on the Skyrim site. Everytime I try logging into TES Nexus, I get approved while being told, "Welcome, Guest!" and can't post. It's a bit...different from the usual issues, there.

...And still no reporting mechanism to the moderators, since the contact form leads to "File does not exist." For at least a couple of months, now.

It also looks like the sticky has been updated with the version before we had before I fixed the two links and you tidied it up. Shouldn't be too much of a problem updating it again, though, now that we're already in the swing of things. We'll worry about that when we're ready though. No point in worrying about it now  And, yep, they can. We may want to discuss instead of updating the original post that a new one is posted so that we can regularly update it without bothering the mods whenever we need to get it done. But, as I said, that time will come.
Funny that Nexus changed links also right in these days!

Yes, I saw the mods changed the sticky post #1 and also purged the old postings. Since the sticky was not locked at this time, I have posted the changelog as post #2. I will now write Rohugh and suggest to lock the sticky. I think it is best if it is kept very tidy. Any suggestions for more additions could be made via their own little thread and included as needed.

I will suggest to Rohugh to put up a new sticky that the community could edit without assistance from the mods. But maybe they prefer to make changes to the post #1 themselves (better control and all). I'm easy one way or the other.

Leonardo2, I did not yet look at your the list mods you linked, will do so later.

Edit: Made a new post #56 consisting of the new changed text from the sticky, with just a little bit of layout changes (colors). I will propose this to Rohugh now to copy-paste/replace it in the sticky.

Yes they have. I just login on the download section and this address was in my browser, but they have also clear out the login field (username+password).

I've just used the forums to contact admins there.

I wonder/bet if these changes are in response to leaked/insider info on the CK/Steamworks ... or ... why should all the conspiracy theories be on the skyrim forums only.

Just a reminder, folks. This thread is to be used ONLY for posting your Oblivion-related modsites. All other links will be removed. Do not post your site more than once, and do not use this thread for chitchat or questions. If your link needs updating, do not add another post. Instead, PM a Moderator and one of us will correct it for you. Thanks.

One more thing, please allow people to post their own links. If you know about a good mod and think it should be listed here, please ask the author if you can list it, as they may wish to do it themselves.

Just advising you folks that Rohugh was so kind and changed the sticky to the latest version #56. So this sticky is now in pretty good shape again.

Once again many thanks, deaths_soul, for your time and work!! :goodjob:
