I'm feeling really awkward about creating this thread.
No this thread is not a request. This thread is asking for your opinions.

There was hardly anything six-related in oblivion, or hardly anything that I can remember. I'm not talking about graphic nudity or straight up porm scenes or anything, I'm talking about suggestive themes,
like in the fallout games. Characters talking about sixual things, strippers, prosttutes etc.

Do you think that there will be anything related to six in Skyrim? Do you think that there should be anything related to six in Skyrim?

I hope not.

Usually when stuff like that gets added to a game to give it a more "mature" feel, it ends up coming across as a 15 year old's definition of maturity.

Let's leave that kind of thing for games like Fable and The Witcher, and keep TES serious.

To answer this seriously:

The Nordic culture does allow for more creative freedom when dealing with sixuality and themes of a more risque nature. A culture made up of brutish men, mead and dragon slaying offers plenty of room for the sort of stuff your looking for. Whether or not this will fit into the world of Skyrim remains to be seen.

There was an infamous Dunmer in Oblivion who talked about necrophilia (six with dead bodies), that's the only reference I can think of from Oblivion.... awkward.

I sort of hope there are references like you say but some of the first mods are likely going to be nudity/porm mods that add strippers and stuff to the game lol.

I dont think it should avoid it, per-say, but I dont think Skyrim should go out of its way to include it either.

Unless a setting/theme within the game calls for it, I'm not fussed one way or the other. I just hope it doesn't tip-toe around the matter as if it doesn't exist... That would be odd, and unnecessary considering the games rating. But then I dont want the other end of the stick, like some Duke Nukem-Fable 2 obscenity... That has no place in TES, and hopefully never will.

Oh, I'm sure your character will have six. To be specific, it will be either "male" or "female" (even though that's only a very rough approximation of the real situation).

Well, we can get married in the game, so it would be a little weird if it wasn't at least implied to some degree. I mean, it's not like your spouse is going to say, "I can't believe we're finally married! Now lets go goblin hunting!"

To continue with my first response and expand on it a little:

I would love to see Skyrim be a more advlt oriented game, with complex moral dilemas, racial tension, sixual tension, political tension...just more tension.
I feel that the world and story during the timeframe the game takes place is perfect for this kind of set up...I just don't think Beth will take it in quite the direction I'm looking for.
TES has become a very well known franchise and I don't see them segregating a large portion of their market by making the game too grimey. It would be nice though.

But w/e, they were all off topic anyway :/

OT, as I said, I wont mind it being in there if the setting calls for it, but I hope it isn't included as some kind of gimmick, or a bloated 11 yo boy depiction of sixuality like Fable(2)

i always though six in video games is funny, i just picture some voice actress in the recording studio making moaning noises and i start to laugh so personally i cant take it seriously inless its in debt love and story like in mass effect

sixual interaction is only a small part of the sixual "interactions" in everyday life. Human being are highly sixual creatures. Everyday life is filled to the brim with innuendo (perhaps it's just because I'm a guy) but I think that the day a developer really captures the essence of "sixuality" and not just "six" is the day videogames truly evolve into something that is undeniably more than a game.

Wow... I would be surprised if there weren't any sixual themes in this game. Let's see, it's rated M... it's a Bethesda game, famous for creating 3D post apocalyptic prosttutes and lisbian ghouls... and it's, more or less, a dark fantasy game set in the icy north populated by vikings. Vikings, people. Some of the most sixually provocative and brutal characters in history were vikings.

I think six will be covered... :thumbsup:
