six change

I finally did it. I created my first female character in a video game in 20+ years of gaming. This forum had everything to do with it, that's why I'm sharing my story here.

I've never even considered a female character before now. Of course there was Metroid, Lara Croft, etc., but whenever given the option to create my own character it never occured to me to role-play a girl. Maybe I'm just a male chauvanist.

I'd like to think more of myself than that, though. I prefer to think that this is the first time I've had the courage to brave the mystery that is the female mind. Giving my newest avatar a pair of X chromosomes should make this run through Oblivion a completely unique experience.

So to all those on this board, whose stories inspired me to try something new; thank you. I'll see how the world reacts to it's newest citizen, River the Wood-Elf.
