relation ships or than companion ship in any game is completly meaningless it seems rather perverted to put six in a game.

Perverted to put six in a game, but perfectly okay to make graphic killing (and the option of vicious murder) a requirement?

It's a strange thing. Wholesale slaughter is all right, but the mere hint of sixual intercourse makes some people cringe and squirm. I don't understand why.

Anyway, yes to all and everything that might broaden and expand the game as an RPG, As I assume Skyrim will b a free-form RPG, those who are uncomfortable with such things can just steer clear of them. I love every quest I can have, where my character talk him or herself through, rather than always having to resolve to violence.

This stuff is for NPC IMO, I don't want the "Daddy is gonna kill a couple of dragons, he will be back in X days" thing.

I want to be able to have children!
Then, when I'm underground killing goblins and its 6PM and I'm not going to be able to read to my son, I can SHOUT the words

"WHERE'S MY COW?!
IS THAT MY COW?!?!
IT GOES "NEEEIGHH"!!!
IT'S A HORSE!!!
THATS NOT MY COW!

WHERE'S MY COW?!
IS THAT MY COW?!?!
IT GOES "HROOOOOOUUUUUUGHHH"!!!
IT'S A HIPPOPOTAMUS!!
THATS NOT MY COW!!!

WHERE'S MY COW?
IS THAT MY COW?
IT GOES "MOOOO"
IT'S MY COW!

Hooray, hoooray what a wonderful day.
I found my cow!"

So loud that the ground shakes!

Lol, Thud! Reference

Children are in, the rest I could not care less about, or would I ever consider it, a waste of time imo.

I already have six, marriage, and children in RL. The point of the game is to escape from all that to where I don't deal with it. Just let me take my frustrations out on some Ogres :)

Fable 3 was a terrible game. Why would I want to play Fable 3: Skyrim?

I may not have related everything to "FABLE 3" I personally was more likely to vote for those if they hadn't related them to fable. If Bethesda did add those elememts ie marriage etc. they would be done completly different since bethesda is completly different from lionhead. I voted yes for those things anyway knowing this. just saying

Would be pretty cool to have the option to do any of these three but not like fable series. TES needs to make its own unique way.

If the only way to do these things is like Fable 3 then absolutely no, it can and has been done better in other(and better) games. Even then do I want it included? If done right then sure but I still probably won't bother with it.

I agree with previous posts saying that Fable 3 (and the previous ones) shouldn't be referenced as a good example to how romance would work in a game. I however completely agree with adding all of them in and here's why.

First of all it adds immersion. You cannot exist in this world without noticing that many of our daily lived are influenced by romance and love. While Fallout New Vegas took sixuality to a new extreme and at times I felt the game was a little over the top, I did realize that this is the reality of human nature. There is the nice high morality side then there is a darker nature driven by impulse and desire. If one can torture someone or cut off their head in a game, why can't they hire a prosttute? If one can save a damsel in distress why can't they start a relationship with said person?

Secondly it gives the player motivation. Romance gives people extremely strong emotions even if it's just a game (just look at a movie). Having an attachment in a game would create a stronger connection with what's going on.

And finally it would create more opportunities for quests. For example a group of bandits kidnap your wife and kids. Or maybe even the main quest villain does. Anyway that's just my 2 cents.

To be honest I think most TES games have an in game length of a few weeks to a month of time. Not enough time to have let alone raise a child, so having my own kids in the game sounds meaningless unless their story has a timeline that jumps whole decades.

My feeling is there needs to be a RELATIONSHIP system when people you meet a lot know that have meet you a lot. People you have had positive interactions with repeatedly treat you like a friend if you choose to be their friend. And, yeah if the friend is inclined I see no reason why the relationship system cannot go so far as to have you romantically involved with that person.

Do I want to see six? Nope
Do I want it implied I'm having six? Nope
Do I want the game to make perfectly clear no six is going on? No, it is fine to leave it open ended that in you own mind these people are involved.

As I said there need to be a system of relationships that span platonic to romantic spectrum. If I sell my goods to a shop the shop owner should KNOW when they last saw me. The shop owner should know if they saw me every two days for several weeks and then didn’t see me for many weeks. The shop owner should remember if I sell & buy goods from him or if I just do one but not the other. The same should go for most important NPCs if they see me a lot they should talk to me like they see me a lot. If they have not see me for weeks they should SAY that! If they dislike me I should hear and sense that from the way they speak to me. If I help a farmer at that start of the game and then see that same farmer near the end of the game the farmer should say, “My goodness it has been months since I have seen you! Thank you so much for what you did. What can I do for you today?!” because that is a lot better then “Hello....” where none of our past interactions are even alluded to and history recent or far past is acknowledged. Any NPC with a mission should have expanded dialogue that stack in front or behind what ever they are going to say that alludes to recent or past interaction and alludes to a level of like, dislike or even love.

It would be nice for all NPCs to acknowledge you in a manner that alludes:
1) Time between last interaction
2) Level of hate, dislike, like or love on their part for you
3) NPC that are available for deep relationships should have MORE dialog that is specific for relationships.

six as in TES2, as references only. You're made clear that yes, people in Tamriel have it too, but it's not shoved on your face. Gothic series and Witcher succeed potraying it somewhat, but we dont necessarily need that. New Bioware games use it as selling feature, even though it's done with good taste. Somehow I despise that. six sells etc. They get all the easy advertisemant they need by releasing one second's video of a blue butt.

Kids of course, since the world wouldn't work if no one reproduced. Major let down to remove them from Morrowind. You only need few to show the player they exist, they dont need to be significant in any way. OR annoying.

Marriage I dont want. I'm happy if I get 1-2 ingame years spent per character (as in TES2) and I rather use that time adventuring, than finding myself a darned wife.

Edit:
Sorry Beastality does not belong in TES

Maybe you should play more TES games, if your opinion is that far from the truth. Further, beastiality is not the proper word since beast races are not animals but humanoids.

You can say "I dont want beastiality to belong in the future TES" if you want to state your opinion while respecting the facts.

I am sorry, whene ever anyone says they want six in TES games, all I think of is people want Beastality in their games. We already have mentions of Necrophilia, and most of us take it as a joke. A little Haha. Are some people Twilight fans? Do we really need Edward and Jacob camps in this game now?

Sorry Beastality does not belong in TES games. You asking for six in TES is asking for this, so again sorry. I may be older than 12, but I just find this discusting. Don't forget we have 10 races. Alot of them are not human races. While you make like to make love to Shrek, I don't care to think of that it at all. :foodndrink:

You have strayed outside the limits of acceptable discussion for these forums. Leave this line out thanks.

six---- No. There is no need for it. I don't mind semi-revealing armour/outfits, but leave the sixual content out.

Children---- Sure, why not. They weren't a burden in Fallout 3 or Fable, so I think it would be cool.

Marriage---- There should be the option to get married, so long as it is not forced.....

This is ES not the sims. I don't think all of that family stuff is necessary. And children will as of now be in the game but I wish that they were not because you will not be able to kill them. Please note I am not promting killing children but I don't think any characters should be invincible so I would rather there just be no children so you can kill everyone.

Children - yes

six - no

If they are not going to take the time to make things like spears then don't take the time to make things like six.

This. Besides children are already confirmed. BTW I don't want marriage...Fable's marriage system is terrible...it's like marrying a random person who just passing, same for having children in those games.

For [censored]s sake, where did all the Fablefreaks without a romantic/love life of their own come from. Get a girlfriend for petes sake or go play the friggin Sims. This is an RPG not a life simulation.
