six?

Bethesda have included mature content in the world books before - though the general lack of children in their worlds suggests not a lot of six is taking place

Anyway if they just give us decent bodies with underwear that doesn't look a flour sack I'll be happy

Seeing as Hollywood insists on turning practically every decent movie into a bleeping love story, and seeing as Hollywood insists on equating six with love... I don't think it's an integral part of storytelling. Who needs six when you have mead?! Am I right?

Lol too true! Definitely improvements on the underclothing would be a plus.

Hi Josh!

Honestly, I think it's unnecessary, unless it's done well. It worked well in Mass Effect and Dragon Age because the characters were deep and believable.

It didn't work in Fable 2 because the characters had all the personality of a rock

I don't care myself, and it's only immature depending on how they implement it ( either natural or "women are just six objects" ways).

Either way, we should be preparing for the "OMG THEIR'S SEEXXX IN ELDAR SCROS V" or the "THER SHUD B SEEXXX IN ELDUR SCOLZ V" comments around the time of release.

But just how would they implement it?

Hot coffee?

Simple, my good chum.

1. Initiate dialogue with washed up hoker or potential love interest
2. Select option/options which initiate six
3. Dialogue ends
4. Screen fades to black
5. ?????
6. PROFIT

I don't care. No, not at all.

If only it were that simple.

Wanting six in a game is not immature, giggling about six in a school playground is not immature. What is immature is holding onto the belief that six is somehow bad or dirty and that we should all join in hiding it away as a matter of course. Some may wish to keep six a private affair, this is their prerogative, others may wish to broadcast their most intimate deeds on YouTube, again it is their choice.

six in TESV. At this point in time I know nothing about the game so I have to say that I don't care either way, I'd be a lot more excited to see extra clothing slots or levitation for example. If however the PC is scripted to form a mature relationship with an NPC or the game allows the PC the freedom to play 'fast and lose' then I would be disappointed if the game did not provide at least a token acknowledgement of the fact. It all comes down to context and believability and I'm a great proponent of the belief that a game targeted at a mature audience should tackle mature themes in a mature way. To do otherwise is to treat the entire audience as immature.

After all, the Thieves Guild is behind the prostitution business in Tamriel.

Really? I remember prosttutes Guild being mentioned in some book in Oblivion. "History of the Fighter's Guild" i believe?

BioWare actually got in a lot of trouble with the partial nudity scenes with the selling of the game (it was banned in some parts of the world). Which is why in Dragon Age: Origins and Mass Effect 2, BioWare definitely censored the action a bit to make it more PG. As some other suggested, the only benefits to having such a mechanic would be for atmospheric/immersion purposes.

Ah yes, the "Fox News controversy". That was full of inaccuries, they tried portray the game as nothing but porm. Anyway, when this topic comes up in BW forums, it is always the Mass Effect style that people want, and i agree. Dragon Age's were needlesly explicit while the ugly underway made them just plain ridiculous :lmao:

And i voted yes. Not for "sixlivion" style explicit scenes, but for some acknowledgment of it's existence. Just include "Lusty Argonian Maid" and we're good :D

As in the book, not the character ;)

Haha, imagine six with Morrowind's animations....HOT!

I don't think it's necessary, though I suppose if a family system was implemented (which I doubt) it would have a role, but just casual six, in a video game? Completely unnecessary.

Even if six was added, it would be no more explicit that it was in Fable, as Bethesda won't be releasing an R18+ game (and even if they did do that, it would have to be edited out for countries that don't have an 18+ rating, like Australia...oh wait just Australia). Otherwise, I don't care.

really six, no way, image a 13 year old kid wanting to get this game and the parents see two people going at it, that game is as good as gone. And really just leave it for all of the pervert modifiers.

No. I hate six in games. Its stupid. Innuendos are funny though.
Also, another reason I don't want six is that I won't legally be able to purchase the game. Go download mods if you really think its necessary.

six in a game is sad. No offense but IMO, it's not needed.

I'd rather see improvements in the combat animations, not time wasted on six animations. Leave it to the modders.

maybe to suggest partners is a good idea. as characters introduced themselfs they could mention which family they belong to.

who said anything about animations ? I dont need to see my toon having six, I would like to see the option (black screen/or fade in/out), just like I want tasteful nudity (topless mainly with bikini type bottoms) for immersion/clothing type purposes, and a return of Temple services, which originally some temples offered sixual services as part of their rites and had nvde initiates in their Temples, I.E. Daggerfall, ancient times were like this and I would like that lore brought back into game is all, as for the guy who said he couldnt buy it if they put it in, far as I know Morrowind was the only TES without an mature listing.

Daggerfall had a lot of nudity, the PC could be fully nvde (no glued on underwear) and there were entire religions full of nudists (and nudist witches covens) even nvde enemys (nymphs). And anyone that says six doesn't belong in TES hasn't read a rude song. The aristocracy was made out to be a bunch of six crazed nymphomaniacs and perverts. I really don't think including nudity is necessary in Skyrim, but I wouldn't be opposed to it. (I just wouldn't let the neighbor kids play it on my computer like I do with Oblivion.)

That doesn't really address the situation of six itself tho. six is an important part of human interaction and TES as a RPg genre is all about humanity. Saying six has NO place in games is like saying emotions and friendships (or even separate sixes. Should all characters should be metro sixual and ambiguous?) have NO place in games. That said, I would cringe if there was a cheesy fade out scene or a prosttute that you could hire. there is a lot of room for more in depth relationships with NPCs in the way of friendship, rivalry, and comradory, (the best of these I've found is a Kajit in a small town tavern in Morrowind and (sir?) Mazoga the Orc in Oblivion) until that is addressed I think skipping straight to six would be gratuitous.

It COULD be included and it COULD be immature. But its not by default immature.

It's not really needed. What point what it serve? Just pushing Skyrim up a rating? It wouldn't matter to me either way.
