I voted no because I'd rather Bethesda focused on things that would better improve the game, such as enhancing the dialog system, additional settlement management options, more quests, more clothing and armor and weapon choices, more armor and weapon mods, etc. If I want to play a six game, there are plenty of virtual girlfriend/boyfriend types available in Japan. (And for the more pigeonly-inclined, there is always Hatoful Boyfriend available on Steam. )

And here is the real reason behind it. Parents ignoring rating systems then complaining about advlt games they buy for their underage kids.

It still shocks me that there are parents out there that are happy to do this. But it's the first time I've seen it used in a forum argument! Your happy to let your son see images of people being ripped limb from limb by meat hooks but the mere mention of six and it's out with the banners and protests.

Yes, why not. Bethesda is clearly going that way with romance, Oblivion didn't have marriage, etc... for a RP game I think it's most appropriate and should remain optional.

I wouldn't care if either was or wasn't in the game, voted no for both because "should" implies it's really missing and I simply don't see it that way.

Are they supposed to start making an NPC for every single minority or marginal group? For the sake of diversity?
Is there a transixual NPC? An asixual NPC? A pansixual one? It hardly matters.
If this is about realism, might as well have beasteality as well at some hidden corner of the game. It's a real thing after all, and someone's bound to get desperate out in the wasteland.


In terms of a player wanting transsixual NPC's for personal reasons, it's still completely unnecessary. The player can decide their own character is transsixual.
If not finding an NPC who shares that in common offends or hurts them, they can't have been gaming for very long.

No for both . People always get caught up in features like six,gay,transgender. Then get upset if there sixually preferences is not in the game . People have a very hard time not being accepted a video game should not make you feel accepted on both sides gay or straight. Opinion

you do make a good point, but again....what's the purpose of this game here...to me these things have always been like an interactive book/movie where you get to experience this fictional world/storyline that someone has created...

when was the last time you heard people complaining because this sort of stuff was left out of a movie or a book? and if so, how seriously were those complaints received?

My son is of an age where he can legally have six and I have no problem with that or whatever his sixuality turns out to be.
As for him being under 18 and playing this game I've already said I feel he's mentally capable of playing it without the worry of him going out on a massive killing spree around my local neighbourhood.
What I did say however is that it shouldn't be added once the game has been released.

For the six part, I could care less if I can see it or not.

For the transgender part, I would like there to be representation of people of all walks of life, but I do not know how it would work in the fallout lore (i.e. were there transgender people before the bombs or what?).

i like the way FO:NV dealt with six and nudity. it had the strip. have naked females dancing in the street. go inside to a club and have an option to having six with a pro. i like having such options.

nudity should be included. you can remove all clothing except for their birthday suit undies. which is silly when their undies is larger than the clothing being removed. at least F4 has smaller undies.

How do you know trangender people are not being represented in the game? Because they're not making a big song and dance about it, and it only counts if its implicitly stated?

To be honest, I find the whole idea of romance and six fairly abhorrent. According to your chryo-stasis time-frame, your wife died literally the other day. Your wife JUST died. Relationships and six would be the last thing on your grieving mind.

I don't care, but am aware others do. I would have no problem if it was a an option you could turn on or off, hello mods, or a free or cheap down load add on.

It's already there, it's just done in a tasteful way that nobody will have a problem with.

Guy meets girl, you get a good relationship with girl and the romance perks are unlocked (and to get said perk you have to sleep while the romance interest is with you).
