six in TES!

Nudity is not pormography.

Now if they were getting freaky on screen that's different.

Lol.
So, a 3d rendering of a female body completely naked that is so life like and realistic, one could mistake it for the real thing, that's not pormography?
What the hell is your definition of pormography? A capturing of the ACT of six? Because that's not how 90% of the world defines pormography.
So you're telling me, by YOUR definition, that if I linked either A: A real life picture of a naked woman on these forums, or B: anime that is a naked woman in the "hentai" fashion, completely naked, that is not pormography? No six involved, just a female. Standing there. Butt naked.
Are you daft?

six TES? No! That would only increase the game's age rating, which would mean that fewer people will play TES.

I must sat again, just so we're all clear.

Nudity is not porm.

I think we should keep that in mind when making a distinction between the two. There's a huge difference.

I suppose it depends how it's presented, really. Technically it could be soft-core pormography as much as it could be, say, art.

I will say this only once: This thread will continue decently and in order, or not at all. It has been out of order for some time, and posts have been deleted accordingly.

So I'm guessing any of the classical arts depicting nvde woman or men are pormography. The Statue of David must be one of the most well crafted pormographic works I've never (sadly. Oh, woe is the lustful, depraved indulger in me!) gotten the chance to see!

Nudity is not pormography, that entails erotic intentions. A woman, or man, standing naked is not pormography, but it becomes it when the purpose is clear that the depiction is attempting to get a purely sixual reaction from its reader.

Nudity CAN, and has, been done tastefully in film and in games that allows for nudity to express some deeper intention than just six. If you're the one thinking nudity always entails some sixual intention, then I'd advise that maturity is also part of the equation, and giggling at a statue of a nvde woman because you're uncomfortable with nudity doesn't make that depiction any more sixual.

Theres an enormous difference between "that woman isn't wearing any clothes" and "HOLY MOTHER OF A [censored] [censored]"

Purpose?

It doesn't really add anything to the game. Nudity would just sort of be there without any use, really.

As for six... Just... No. That is not what I play videogames for.

Do you not know how to put 2 and 2 together? We are talking about six. In. Video. Games.
Obviously that denotes pormography.

Well according to Webster's, the definition of pormography is:

1 : the depiction of erotic behavior (as in pictures or writing) intended to cause sixual excitement
2 : material (as books or a photograph) that depicts erotic behavior and is intended to cause sixual excitement
3 : the depiction of acts in a sensational manner so as to arouse a quick intense emotional reaction

So no, Nudity by itself is NOT porm.

When you get to talking bad about the mod community, you really hit a nerve. I'll just say, prepare for a horde.

Mod creators are a very interesting bunch, and they do what they do because they love the game to be whatever one desires. If one wishes to get rid of the diaper-esque underwear that plagues both Morrowind and Oblivion, that is one's choice. Especially considering most of the mod creators that add nudity also enjoy creating clothing to cover it up.

And this goes without saying; you aren't forced to use these mods, so why become so upset about their presence?

Because I have to wade through their presence every single time I go to TESNexus for a mod fix, having to look through pages and pages of chainmail bikinis and maid outfits and catsuits and briastplates in order to find some decent-looking duds? Because they're often little more than tasteless objectification of women that reduces their importance to a piece of visual stimulation? Because they only further cements the belief of the mass media that gamers are nothing but a bunch of maladjusted, immature and/or perverted advltchildren training to become serial killers or sixual deviants and're egged on to do so by developers?

For the sake of making sure I don't get banned from the forum until I get my Elder Scrolls PNP thing going I'll leave my piece at that, but needless to say I've plenty of reasons to hold a good chunk of the Oblivion mod community in nothing but vicious concempt.
