sixrobot! sixrobot!

Post » Tue Jun 01, 2010 8:25 am

Ok so I have Ralph's sixbot Hologram, and then he told me I have to put it into some robot or something, but I don't remember exactly what he said. So what am I supposed to use this hologram for? When I follow the map it sends me one place then the arrow will jump to another location so I think it's a bit buggy.

Thanks

There is a place called Cerulean Robotics in the back of Freeside, just explore the area inside the doors and you'll find it. That is, in the area where Mick and Ralph's is, not the area that leads to the strip, though the door leading to outer Freeside near Silver Rush is pretty close to where the Robot factory is.

The place with the sixbot is pretty tough to find if you're just following your compass marker...

Spoiler
On the area of Freeside with the entrances to Mick & Ralph's and the Mormon Fort, walk AWAY from both of these, toward Tapper, the Kings member who guards water. Keep Tapper on your right as you walk right past him. It looks like you are walking into the wall at the edge of Freeside, but as you get close, you'll notice the road veers off to the left. Follow that path to find a whole other hidden area within the area.

Follow the railroad away from the Mormon Fort and then look for a passageway between 2 piles of rubble.

This quest had me angry. When I found the place I actually cheered behind my laptop.

It also took me forever to find the stupied building in Freeside. I actually gave up around 3-4 times and went off to do different quests...very annoying. When I finally found it my character did a little dance and said "this had better be worth it," then after the quest my character was rather horrified by the robot.

I've been killing myself trying to find that building. I even went to the area with the dude guarding the water and never realized it was in there. Sweet!!

What's interesting after the end of the quest is
Spoiler
you get 10 caps every time you talk to Fisto at the casino. I start a conversation with him, then say goodbye, and I got 10 caps. It's like your Fisto's pimp and you get a cut of the action.

When you walk in the building tgo to your left there should be a skeleton with a key next to it, get the key. Then go to the room where the robot is and find the locked tool cabinet. It should contain the password to the terminal next to the unopened robot container.

or u could just hack the terminal with a science of 50.
