sixual discrimination ? O_o

Post » Mon Feb 25, 2013 10:20 pm

I wonder why in MP option is not the possibility to choose the look of a player in base at his sixuality? Dev don't think are womans playing shooters too? Or shooters games have a politic of "only man thing" ? Do you think maybe guys will stop shooting when they will see a female character ? (for sure nerds will do , in this category some dev too) Legaly is not a sixual discrimination this ? Don't go agains the politic of fair oportunity ? What a lawyer will say about this ? Crysis was a inovation game from the begining , now Crysis 3 is on market and still nothing from this point of view . No shooter have a active female look for online play.

Does it matter what character do you use ?

I dont really care about the gender of my character, hell I even used female character in Rainbow Six Vegas 2 because it felt better/was way more interesting personality/unique than male character, not because it was female and "derp there is too few females in videogames"

Sure, if crytek can make a female character that is not stereotypical and bland/lame/generic then yes, Im all for it.

Btw, I cant really imagine playing RSV2 as male character anymore, she just haz dat charm.

Get real. Next we will have cross-dressing nanosuit demands o_O.
Oh wait, if a guy wants to play as a girl, that is already the case :).

I'm a woman .

Your post is misleading, your not looking to alter a characters sixuality rather, gender selection. I'm hoping if a nanosuit soldier where gay or straight their combat performance would be the same. :)

First , i'm realy a woman not a man (i don't have nothing against gay or everybody else , and you can check on TCI site if i'm a woman) and i now other 2 girls who was playing Crysis2.

Second , normaly have to be some diference in performance betwin a male and a female charachter , but i don't think will never happening (maybe only after some legal sentence) and if they will do some change i think will be only estetic. For me is ok only estetic too if i can't have more... but i'm sure will not happen...

If there was a female character available and its hitbox would be slimmer than the male's, then everyone would play as the female.

Verry true , but with a ballance in less stright and health , with out the possibility of using heavy weapons , a little more mobility , lets say something like a change from a tank nanosuit , a assault normal nano and a ninja stealt nano . Will be nice don't you think? With the beautiful grafic that cryengine offer ... :D :D :D i will love that.

I think module customization and weapon customization is pretty enough to build a class perfect just for you. And people argue on every balance aspect in both categories. Introducing one more will just spawn more controversy like: Ninja class is OP/I can't kill tank class, nerf them/assault nano is underwhelming, etc.

A you really offended by the lack of female model? To me it makes sense, since story never hinted that such suit models were even in designs. It would be strange and unusual to introduce them just for the sake of equality.

I think model customization will be introduced someday, either by devs or community. What I am sure of, it will be completely cosmetic, without affecting any physical stats like hit box or speed.
