sixual Themes?

Post » Wed Jul 31, 2013 10:00 pm

I was waiting for my game to load when I was looking on the back of the game, and it says "sixual themes". I have been playing this game for awhile and I haven't seen anything considered to be sixual, other than the fact if you take the clothes off a female you see her half naked.

Implied intercourse with spouse when going to bed with them? Outside of that, yeah, it ain't possible without mods.

There's plenty of other stuff around the game, but most of it is pretty tame. Flirting, jokes, etc.

One exception I can think of at the moment is the lady in Riften that has a "six chamber" with "things."

There is always the workers' boarding house in Riften, but you may have to monitor it closely to catch on to what is going on.

A thinly veiled excuse for giving the game a mature rating so more people will want to play it. Of anything in the game the Lusty Argonian Maid is the most egregious and Lifts Her Tail is hardly worthy of such a rating. I myself was thunderstruck at how this game could have gained the rating. It is simply STUPID IMO.

If you search in the UESP wiki for 'bedding women' it asks if you meant 'bleeding wooden'.

Yes, very good, that is what I meant, bleeding wooden...

does it count as sixual themes if it only is implied? those books would hardly even upset a vicar of the inquisition.

now when I think of it. who rates these games? they're doing an outstanding job embracing victorian ideals in the 21- century

There's also that dungeon that houses a necrophiliac.

A sixual theme is something that reveals, implies, or hints, a sixual activity, sixual talk, or sixual items, not partial nudity or actual nudity.

I have to admit the LAM is a bit titillating but no reason to grab a statue of Dibella and a bucket.

Dibella statues, characters running around in skivvies, lusty argonian maid, thief of virtue, anything about Barenziah, certain fur armors, forsworn armor, that dibella worshipping person in Riften, and the Falmer armor, also there is a necrophiliac mage somewhere in Skyrim. Do you really want to do the math here?

Although the Dibella statue can be written off the list.

Also Dibella statues are not meant to be pormographic, just art if anything and since most greek/roman statues were quite nvde . . .

So mentioning the King of Graqe's 'Mace' would be counted under the mature rating I take it?

Fagh! It's all idiocy.

Concerning mature content, there is a pinned thread in the Mods section named "advlt/Mature Content".

Was I ever so disappointed, when I looked inside and found none. :(

Read the books. A lot of them have mature themes. Take http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Opusculus_Lamae_Bal_ta_Mezzamortie, for instance. All it takes is for one hokerr to sue Bethesda because they let their five year-old play and she was scarred by something she saw. So, they load up on CYA.

Um, we are talking about the US version, right? The country where a 2-second glimpse of a bare briast is a major scandal, but an ultraviolent movie isn't a big deal? You don't have to be a native, or even live here to realize that we have very, very screwed-up conceptions of six and violence!

Considering all views is what makes it the rating and such for content.

Some are more prudish than others, for some people a skirt/dress that does not touch the ankles is considered improper (so imagine how they would react to savior's hide...), and even implied events/situations can be considered obscene to some (LAM for example is fine to many, but others would consider it scandal worthy... hate for them to check out the romance section at wallmart though... gah read part of one once my sister left laying out)

So they tend to be a bit more aggressive on purging and marking things mature
