Size of interior cells

Hello,

though I've played around with the CS before, I'm now trying to build my first house that's worth keeping. I might even release it if it turns out the way I want.
There's one thing I was wondering though: how large can I make interior cells before the size starts becoming a problem? The house is quite large and I'm trying to decide the amount of cells I should devide it in. A single cell would of course be the nicest for playing experiences, but I don't think that's going to work. It's a house after all, so there will be a lot of items lying around. Can someone give me some pointers on the size and/or the number of statics I can safely use in a single interior cell? It's one of the things I couldn't find in any toturial.

On a sidenote: I seem to have created a few GMST's. Though only Stendarr knows how they got there, they are there. Ofcourse I want to get rid of them. Am I correct that this is impossible in the editor itself?

depends on your computer. interiors can be as large as you want, but will get that overflow loot bag if it's too populated. probably best to keep an interior under 2000 references for playablility in most instances.

really large interiors tend to have other cosmetic issues, like the map not working quite right. for instance, there's a mod that places all of firemoth island in an interior.
