Post » Thu Jun 02, 2011 11:08 pm

Just add
+g_skipIntro 1
to it's command line parameters.

Google before complaining.

create shortcut to crysis2.exe
and just add in his options +g_skipIntro 1 to the command line
And now this shortcut is skipping intro. But intro will be skipped if you will only launch shortcut with +g_skipIntro 1 command line parameter.

Peple, are starting to be really annoying! Just because they realise patches, that doesn't mean they will change the game with it. People think Crytek will actually give Alcatraz a voice, and etc. Btw. they have to make that intro because they have a contract with them...

Just shut up and Google next time. Most users are familiar with no-intro skips ; they've been around since Counterstrike.

Noob.

After changing the parameters like this the game crashes at my pc.
Alternatively you can add the command to your system.cfg -> should look like this then:

sys_languages = "english,french,spanish,german,turkish"

g_skipIntro = 1

log_verbosity = 0

It's there for copyright reasons, not because they want to.

Most games let you at least bypass those screens by hitting the ESC key (or any key).

Search for a free software called "Crysis 2 Advanced Graphics Options". It's very usefull. You can skip intro, change FOV, AA, modify graphics parameters. It's working fine and this is not a hacking/cheating program. A lot of players use it. It's just adding a file called autoexec.bat in the Crysis 2 folder with the settings you want. If you are not happy with it, delete the file autoexec.bat.

Just add:

g_skipIntro=1

to your "system.cfg" file in Crysis 2 folder, or to "game.cfg" in folder where are C2 saves. Just remember to add it at end of all command, not in middle.

.. or create an autoexec.cfg in the Crysis2 root folder and put above in there - works as well!

Btw, why are everyone suggesting to make a new autoexec.cfg file when u can just use system.cfg one?
