It was confirmed by a dev as a Redguard.

There is another screenshot with a female Redguard, the one where she's wearing that bone armour. Think it's a Redguard anyway.

Yeah, hopefully the majority of NPC's stick to something lore friendly. I want to be able to tell what the different races are. I don't want pink or white Dunmer walking around in game. It would be nice if there were set limitation for each race. That way we could make them unique while staying within the confines of said race. But maybe Bethesda has made it possible for some mix matched races now?

If the lore indicates that Bretons, Imperials and Nords look the same, then I really hope Skyrim ignores the lore and makes them all look different.

The skin in that other pic was just way too bright.

Those look the same except for the bright sun burning brightly in her face. I am colour blind though.

I don't see the neck seam on the orc, do see one on the big boned argonian.

Overall, characters look really good. I'd still like to see a dunmer or redguard bikini shot, though. In Oblivion those neck and wrist seams were awful and the ladies had man-hands. Also, the dunmer and redguard skin tones were horrible to work with.

I love how there were complaints for more screenshots of playable characters and then when we finally get them, there are still more complaints. Oh well, I'm going camping now...PEACE OUT and y'all have a fantastic weekend! I love these new screenshots!!!

Waaat. Who confirmed that that girl is a redguard? They dont look like redguards at all. I mean, there are no black people who look exactly like white people. They dont look like they are light skinned black people

The bosmer looks like a oblivion dunmer and the dunmer looks like a morrowind dunmer.
(And the breton looks lonely and sad)
Theres some weird stuff going on here.

the one with the bow looks like a breton to me because his ear are pointy but not long like bretons ears are when u look at the others ears(nords) here curved

I mean, I get not thinking it's a Redguard at first glance, but look at it for longer than 2 seconds and try to see her as a Redguard, it becomes blatantly obvious.

We jut want something to talk about until Skyrim gets here, whether its positive or negative doesnt matter... This place will die down once we all get Skyrim.

Am I the only one who DOESN'T like the bosmer pic?

Way to bulky for me, not just for a bosmer, but for anyone. It'd be impractical to be that big an adventurer

I agree that it's a Redguard but it definitely needs tweaking of the skin color. I doubt that's a final version of a Redguard female.

I like how all the races look line so far but im a litle concerned with the ork, in that pic he looks too humanoid, not savage enough. I hope we can adjust their teeth leght or something.

I am very impressed with all the screenshots.

I'm glad they have finally allowed Bosmer to be as bad ass as they are described in the lore, and not the running joke of the series they have become in the games. I might actually play one now.

Also, HOLY [unreadable text] that Argonian looks incredible!

As to anyone saying "Oh no X race looks like this /sadface" I think you are greatly underestimating the character creation. This isn't Morrowind. You will be able to make your character exactly how you want if you spend enough time on it.

#1 that pic you linked has never, ever been confirmed to be a Redguard. Looks like a Nord, perhaps imperial, but no dev confirmed the race AFAIK. Certainly no one ever said she was Redguard

#3. The pic that vsions indicated was a female redguard was a completely different pic ( http://0.tqn.com/d/compactiongames/1/0/t/r/1/elder-scrolls-v-skyrim-scr06.jpg ) - and he said they decided to alter the Redguard skin tone after this pic was published.
