Hmmm...

I'm no lore scholar, but something gives me the feeling that a city floating in the sky would be severely lore-unfriendly, though... this isn't Bioshock Infinite or Final Fantasy or Star Wars.

sky city? like a floating city in the sky?....ABSOLUTY NOT! Thats just to much man. An air ship is one thing but an entire city? Come on.......was that a little mean? Sorry with the game days away im getting a little antsy.

Humanity nearly destroys itself fighting over fossil fuels. Then it's remnants, equipped with only the shattered left overs, managed to produce enough consistent energy density to keep a city in the damned sky?! With enough left over to transport people, goods, and materials back and forth?

A sky ship is an excellent idea. Plus, if were going for the BioShock thing, an underwater city is also cool. That submarine idea was a good one. A floating city is a bit far-fetched, true. But its a lot more interesting than a crappy 'town' located in an old building (Underworld from F3)
