Is there any safe storage in Sky Haven Temple? I've never bothered getting a house, but my inventory is getting full and I really need a place to stash stuff.

Well that svcks. Where is the Dragonborn/Blade supposed to hang his or her hat/helmet?

well there is a link on that page that talks about safe containers. I know waiting 30 days might be a pain but you could see if anything matching what they say are safe containers exist in Skyhaven temple and then wait for 30 days and see if what you placed in one resets.

How insane is it to have a headquarters, living quarters for the Blades that's not safe to use?

I'll check to see if there are any mods for it. I feel like my character would want to live there and not in some city or other house.

The chest in the room where you find the blade armor never respawns. According to the game data in the creation kit, the chests in the bedroom area don't respawn either.
