Currently deciding which one to use on a Skyre playthough...Skyre's combat module or deadly combat.
Pros for deadly combat:
- AI changes more noticeable, to me at least
- general pace of combat
- locational damage
- stagger effect
Pros for Skyre
- more pronounced difference in heavy and light or no armor
- archery is done well IMO (crossbow bolts still penetrate heavy armor, long and short bows become less effective against armored opponents)
- differing stamina costs for different weapons (does DC have this by the way?)
- turtling with a shield drains stamina
- attack effectiveness is reduced as stamina gets lower
- chance to disarm opponent when opponent stamina is low (again, can't recall..does DC have this as well?)
My main question is if SKyre and Deadly Combat play nicely together...as I'm sure there are formulas that SkyRe's main module changes, which Deadly Combat changes as well. Don't know how that will play out and affect balance of a SkyRe playthrough.
Also looking for as many opinions / pros and cons for both as possible!
