Yes, again, I know...But am looking for some insights here as the Requiem mod page left me with some questions.
Recently after a number of console and one PC vanilla playthrough I decided to play on PC with overhaul mods. I settled on SkyRe because of the sheer amounts of downloads and endorsemants and the description, which sounds good to me
However I am now in doubt as to which overhaul mod I should use: SkyRe or Requiem.
From what I've read I like them both but would be cool to have the best of both worlds.
I know it's kind of an apples and oranges thing...but which one do you prefer and why? What I'm looking for is a clear sense of accomplishment and a large variety in weapons, armor and perks. Most importantly, I want choice to matter and this is where SkyRe appeals to me. There are different, specialised weapon perks which seem really enjoyable to me and have been thus far. I don't want to one-shot everything at higher levels but I don't want a vanilla leveled list experience either. I'm not scared of a steep learning / difficulty curve either.
I've played SkyRe for a few hours now and do enjoy it. Don't like everything about the combat though. (better than vanilla though) Also the distribution of leveled lists seems a bit...chaotic to me. I use Jaysus and Immersive Weapons / Armors and on level 3 I encountered a Redguard with a Daedric Tanto. I beat him easily and here I was with a Daedric Tanto at a low level. I created a Bashed Patch and used the Reproccer so no issues there. Bit disappointing and sold it off first chance.
So, I like Skyre but am not completely sold yet. Any pros / cons for either? Also, does Requiem come with extra weapons / armor etc? I think it does but not quite sure. And how does the delevelled feel of the game hold up on higher levels? Is it compatible with Character Creation Overhaul , Slower Levelling, deadly combat and deadly dragons?
Sorry for the random questions...any advice is appreciated.
