SkyRe with ASIS and Alternative Start

ASIS together with Skyrim Redone and Alternative Start. I tested these mods yesterday and there are a few things I wanted to share or document in case I need to reinstall.

For the installation part:
Install Skyrim Redone via Nexus Mod Manager.
Then disable/untick SkyRe Enemy AI in the load order.
Install Alternative Start via Nexus Mod Manager as usual.
Install ASIS (ASIS Patcher) via Nexus Mod Manager as usual.
Run the File Skyrim/Data/SkyProc Patchers/ASIS/ASIS.jar
Do not select any of the obsolete and unsupported modules, also unselect the "Increased Spawn" module.
Once the ASIS Patcher runs, it will distribute all the new perks, abilities and spells to the NPC in the world.

Enable SkyRe Enemy AI via Nexus Mod Manager.

Enable the newly created ASIS.esp via Nexus Mod Manager.
Run BOSS to reconfigure your load order, works for me.

Once ingame open the console with the "`" key and type "set timescale to 6". This will set the ingame time to run six times faster than real life. Default is 20, but this puts too much stress on me. The day/night cycle is over before you had enough time to do anything.

When I first installed these mods, I had increased spawn enabled for ASIS. This should add per random additional enemies to normal encounters. You can fine tune these settings in ASIS, but the help information is confusing. The default value for one additional spawn is 200, the help also says 'the higher value the higher the probability'. I reduced it to 0, but ingame you are ALWAYS ganged up by ~12 wolves with increased AI, perks, level and abilities. So I advise to not use it.

With SkyRe Enemy AI enabled when running the ASIS Patcher, I got a game which crashed to desktop every second encounter.

"Encounter Zones" is a SkyRe module, which puts a minimum and then static levels on zones the first time you go there. If you are level80 the first time you visit the woods around Riverwood, you will have level80 wolves around there forever. If you are level5 the first time you visit the woods around Riverwood, you will have level5 wolves around there forever. If you are level5 and go into a high-level dungeon, the monsters in there will be level80. I understand the idea behind it, but personally do not want trash-mobs later in the game or quests I need to stop because the enemies become unbeatable at my level.

How does it feel and play?

I started my life straight as a vampire (using the Better Vampires mod in reverse progression)
After the character creation you are in a cave with other bloodsvckers, who call me meat for some reason (some of them). Gathering some stuff from the barrels and other things lying around, unfortunately I only found a lot of food and potions. Stamina, life and other potions are disabled for vampires, as it doesn't make sense. Life potions should be like poison to me as an undead being. The only thing I needed was blood and luckily there was a dead prisoner in a cage with some drops of blood left. I decide to bottle up the blood as a health potion for later use, even though I am starving. You also find a journal which gives you some clue on what happened. Once you leave the cave, it is around ~10pm and dark (I put timescale to 6, to reduce the stress factor)

The first test with increased spawn. I left the cave and was greeted by ~8 mud-crabs. Somehow was lucky and beat them with a "into the cave and out of the cave tactic", made my way to a street leading north-south. There a wolf attacked me and I killed him quite easily. An instant later, three more wolves spawned and attacked me from behind (one hit is ~40% of your life energy). I tried my new ability "Sandstorm Charge" to flee and discovered there were now ~8 wolves charging me. I couldn't outrun them with my ability, neither could I outrun them using stamina.

The second test without increased spawn. I left the cave and was attacked by only three mud-crabs, same tactic as before as they are really tough enemies. Sneaking my way to the street I had discovered earlier, I had to fight off A wolf. Yes, there was a single enemy encounter, hurray :D (which still cost me ~80% of my life)
So I stayed off the road and sneaked through bushes heading south along the river.
Two wolves spot and attack me, I try to fight them off but my powers are still too weak and I already have to take my precious blood potion. There is a house not far and I run, it is a sawmill (Mixwater Mill). Seems the door to the worker house is unlocked and I barely make it inside with some energy left. Now I use my pop out, fight wolf, pop in regen energy, pop out fight wolf tactic again.

Sneaking along the road trying to not be detected by wolves, I encounter a kind of mage on the bridge. He blasts me away with a single fireball (I have -60% fire resistance).

My next tactic is following the river and stay away from the roads altogether. This turns out to be much better, no wolves and no other enemies all the way until Whiterun. I had to run around some packs of wolves, but they were easily spotted before they detected me, thanks to my nightvision. The whole sneaking trip from the mill to Whiterun took me ~two hours in real life.

Arriving in Whiterun, I am out for blood. Sneaking up on the guards outside doesn't work. Looking for beggars in town isn't fruitful. After lurking around for some time, I go into the hall of the dead. The priest down there is not hostile towards me and I offer to look for his lost amulet. The Blessing of Arkay, I receive, boosts my energy.
It is now ~five a clock in the morning, the priest went to bed and this is the first time I actual feed on warm blood. With my full stomach I stay in the catacombs and wait for the next night to arrive.
