Skyrim E3 2011 Thread #2

I wouldn't consider a movie screen "very cool".

That is just one aspect of it. Last PAX prime they had a giant New Vegas sign with Dinky.

I'm hoping they model their booth after Skyrim itself. Or have an animatronic dragon perched on a mountain. Maybe the theater will be inside a nordic/ dwemer cave. Only time will tell!

Yea, I've been an advocate for an animatronic dragon.

Do we know whether Skyrim will be showcased during Microsoft's conference, or be independent?

Did anyone ask about Nintendo? There's a vague hope it's be a launch title for the new system. ;)

We'll have to wait until E3. Nintendo will most likely announce it during their press conference, if Skyrim is indeed coming to that system.

I'll be shocked if they announce it at their presser.

It probably won't be a lone announcement. It's likely to be part of a sizzle reel showing off the games that will be coming to the system.

A big game such as Skyrim being relegated to a sizzle reel teaser trailer clumped with a bunch of different games? I hope not. Should get it's own announcement.

The Nintendo conference has to cover wii games, 3ds games, and the project cafe announcement. I doubt there will be any room for specific third party games.

They could give it a shout out during Reggie's annual E3 powerpoint presentation.

It doesn't need to be big if it's going to be closed.

Hunted releases June 1st, right before E3.

Since Thunderjunk tends to continously frequent this thread, I can only speculate that we're definately going to see something, whether it's more interviews, screenshots, gameplay (Hopefully.)

The cat's already out the bag Thunder, it's time to spill the beans.

This isn't something being promised by a gaming website. This is stuff promised by Bethesda. No "tasty footage" problems here.

I'm guessing they don't want another incident like oblivion where they show off something that might be axed later. If that's the case, then it's probably for the best right?
