We will likely get a video of the demo in action and that will be posted on the website. The same thing happened with Oblivion.

I think that video was only released because it was leaked. They weren't going to release it originally. That's why it showcased features that never made it to the final game.

Hunted releases June 1st, right before E3.

They will probably advertise it tough.

I hope this isn't a disappointment.

It will only be a disappointment if you expect way too much of them.

I've been saying all along that I don't think we'll see gameplay at E3. I've been an advocate of spreading Pete's words of "closed booth" and "by appointment" only.

Seeing gameplay is actually somewhat of a reasonable expectation, I will give you that. Bethesda's booths are always closed, yet they still show the content to the media. The media, in turn, is then allowed to redistribute what they saw. They just want to keep the exposure controlled and make their demo process very focused and inclusive to those there, such as letting possibly letting them play that demo. You really can't create an open demo for every attendee there, it would be way too hectic and limited for time.

i wanna be at E3 so badly to see bethesda's booth... i wish some random person would generously send me all the money i'd need to travel to... wherever the hell E3 is held, cause i keep forgetting since i never go there... then i could be happy.

i suppose those of us who dont go to bethesda's closed booth will NEVER know what the "very cool" thing is?

doubt there'll be any videos/images of it... and bethesda will probably send the dark brotherhood after anyone who shows any slight hint of exposing the secret.

Press won't get to go hands on at E3. Confirmed. That probably won't happen until late Summer. Maybe around Quakecon.

Pete just tweeted "Headed off to LA for some pre-E3 stuff today". It's getting closer and closer. Can't wait!

E3 is now basically a press conference convention, with about 10% of the coolness factor it used to have.

Anything Bethesda shows/discusses at E3 will be intended for the mainstream gaming press, so expect the questions to be every conceivable rewording of:

1) Are there dragons?
2) Can you ride a dragon?
3) Can you become a dragon?
and
4) So tell me more about dragons...

That is unless E3 screws up and lets some german or scandinavian journos in, in which case we might get some good questions. They'll probably have a cool display, which we'll see pictures or video of at all the usual gaming news sites.

I expect Bethesda knows E3 is going to fall far short of the needs of TES fans. I expect we'll see lots of info released on the TES site that is way more useful to us.

The red icon on the floor map looks like a turning page to me. I'm still not sure what it's meant to represent, though. http://www.mapyourshow.com/shows/index.cfm?Show_ID=E311

Maybe the booth will have a wall similar to the "Skyrim" trailer.

Guarantee is a pretty strong word. I have fears of it being a press only showing like the one a few weeks ago and us fans will only be reading about what someone else saw.

June has never been so far away.

I'd like to say that I can pass the time with the Witcher 2, but the damn thing won't even play...

Dragonborn1

The booth is closed, and it has always been closed every year. Every year (when there is a BGS game) we have gotten info and gameplay in the form of a "guided tour" or demo. Fallout 3 and Oblivion both had this. While the PUBLIC saw nothing and there was no major unavailing at a press conference, we still got stuff.

Why do you say that we will get nothing? By appointment only, only means that certain people will have new info about Skyrim. They don't just show people and tell them to swear on their lives that they won't tell anyone what they saw. They show them so they will tell other people. And then we get the demo.
