Just a question about add ons that got me thinking, Morrowind and Oblivion both got two large DLC's plus some 4-5 small add ons. But in Skyrim they never made more content. I remeber todd howard saying that this game would reciece small pieces of updates that would add some sort small content and that they would do more add-ons in the future like 5-6. but they only did 3 DLC's. So why didn't they make more DLC? .. i'm just curious that's all. I don't know .. kinda of strange. I mean the game sold alot. but only 3 DLCs?

first thing what todd said was a lie just to calm people down for sometime and then after they announced their departure from the game to future series so no additional contents will be coming for skyrim stop asking people skyrim is done play the game as it is currently as to why they only released 3 contents and no further updates i doubt you will get the correct answer here as no one knows why.

Bethesda moved onto a future project, as they stated a long time ago on their blog.
We don't know what that project is, but it's all we know about why and when they chose to stop working on Skyrim.
