While it may svck, it's up to the parents how to raise you. They do feed you after all.
Exactly. Hell, my parents didn't want video games in my house at all up until I was around 10ish. My mother took a Super Nintendo I had gotten as a Christmas gift from my Uncle back to the store and got Legos instead... Sure Legos are awesome, but I had thousands of them at the time, and no Super Nintendo... Of course that "rule" or whatever you want to call it, quickly vanished as my older brother started getting a bit of spending money and bought himself a Gameboy and a copy of Pokemon. Also when my Uncle (different one from previous mention) gave me and my brothers a computer which had Wolfenstein 3D, Lemmings, Scorched Earth and BattleChess on floppies. Moral of the story(s)... at least they care enough to pay attention to ratings.
