Skyrim Almost Done And No Delay. Always Nice To Hear!

Post » Mon Oct 03, 2011 9:35 am

I realize this isn't news per se, but it's always nice to here...

@DCDeacon Hey Pete, how long before release will Skyrim be done?

@IamJodyLee soon.

@DCDeacon Hey, who won the speedrun on Skyrim, and what is the time record for the MQ?

@IamJodyLee Speedrun finals got postponed. Will let you know.

@DCDeacon I don't like the word postponed anywhere near Skyrim.

@yanks4champs don't worry. If it was delayed you'd know by now. It's 11.11.11.

There are still people worried? I guess some people will only believe once they hold their copy in their hands. :P

Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes.

<------ went the more dramatic way instead of wasting what appears to be fireworks above me.

Not that I was truly worried, but this is a nice breath of fresh air.

Yea that sounds good. Just straight bug testing for the next 3 weeks and then off to the presses.

Considering Bethesda's history, I've been extremely pessimistic about Skyrim's release date. But I have to say, this cheers me up.

Same here. The only thing I've ever been concerned about was the launch date. Having Pete reaffirm this is always welcomed and makes me happy

I Don't know why people were doubting the date anyway, They put so much hype into 11.11.11 and not to mention its an amazing date.

Haha sorry! I'm on my phone and that emoticon is hard to make out. It doesn't look like a smile, that's why I was unsure.

That has me alittle nervous after hearing that.. [censored] I can't stop being paranoid about possibly game breaking bugs ect on skyrim.

I think everything is going to be fine. I cant' imagine any game breaking bugs or even anything close. I never noticed anything with Fallout 3 and I got it a few days after release. Same with Oblivion, though I was 9 at the time, I did not notice anything.

I'm not terribly worried, but i'll be crushed if they pull what happened with oblivion. For those of you who forgot OB was supposed to be released 11/22/05 and on 10/31/05 they announce a delay of a few months, so that was 22 days before the release that they pushed it back.
