Some aspects certainly looks promising, but there are a lot of issues I have yet to be convinced on before I'm convinced that this game will be awesome.

If it lives up or at least comes close to the level of quality it seems to be based on what has been released, I'm pretty happy. Only time will tell though.

Definately gonna be the best game named Skrim at any rate....

What was the point of this thread? Anyway: I think Skyrim might be the best game ever crafted, but thats just my impression.

It's not fair, you can't compete with a game that's been delayed for a decade. Skyrim is third best behind DNF and Diablo3.

Yes, ever since I played Oblivion and realized they would eventually come out with a sequel, I knew it would be the best. There is no doubt in my mind. And it will be surpassed only by the next installment of TES.

Skyrim isn't the best TES game. It hasn't been released and no one here has played it. Until that happens the BEST TES Game is Morrowind, hands down.

Comparing Skyrim to another game is absurd because Skyrim being a TES game can only be properly compared to other TES games.

From what we have seen, the game definitely looks better than Morrowind and Oblivion. How close to Daggerfall or if it even passes Daggerfall, it's too close to say. However, this is just speculation on what we know so far, we have to wait to play it to see how it ranks. Deciding how the game is by just guessing on how it "seems" is why we have so many threads that are saying "How TES is ruined" because an old feature was removed and replaced but people only look at the "removed" and don't take in account the "replaced", especially since all the "replaced" do the same thing as the removed and more.

TES was the best before it was even made. In my book it will allways be the #1 RPG series. Really Morrowind introduced me to sandbox openworld RPG stuff.
