Funny because TES is based off of dozens of titles and peoples innovation. Interplay's titles, Wasteland, and Fallout were big ones not just for BGS but for the whole industry(Fallout 1 is one of the main reasons jRPGs didn't overrun WRPGs in the marketplace. It released in the crucial time devs were switching to cheaper and easier to make jRPGs.)

There's a reason Interplay's studios represents the "Golden Age of Gaming/RPGs"

Not to be a hater, but I never like the world of "Fallout,” it was too goofy and did make much sense. Atomic powered cars, rampaging floating robots with saw hands, and ghoulish irradiated monsters must have seems funny and interesting in 1997, but it fell flat to me when Fallout3 came out a decade later.
I far prefer the world of The Elder Scrolls because it is not as goofy. Too be sure there is a lot of misplaced humor and stupid ideas in Elder Scrolls games, but they are less goofy and occur in a far more believable world.

I honestly do not understand how people can stand the world of Fallout; it makes no sense how such a world could have come about. It takes an interesting idea and makes it all goofy….what a waste.

I just finished playing fallout 2 again after many years.

Skyrim > FO 3, FO NV
Any game, including Skyrim < FO 1, FO 2
