AS An AVID COD AWESOME QUADRUPLE PRESTIGED BOSS i must say that the similarities between these two juggernauts of gaming stick out like a sore toe. i think cod is goty because of prestige and zombyz but skyrim is cool because theres giants!! freakin mammoths too!! the real difference only shows up in the minute details or macro if you wiil. skyrim without dragons is just a cod rehash. STEP YOUR GAME UP BETHESDA (my mw 3 cents)

The difference is Skyrim adds to and improves gameplay. CoD only gets worse and continues to make the same game breaking mistakes. At least Bethesda comes up with new things to screw up each time.

Skyrim is the mass-produced, over-hyped, commercialized, simplified version of what TES used to be. If Morrowind = United Offensive, then Skyrim = MW3. No question.

Like CoD, TES is not what it used to be. It no longer consists of the things that made it great.
