I don't think so but if someone would be willing to screen shot Oblivon on Max settings without MODS I would be willing to make a fair screen shot comparison.

These seem a bit biased, you're running Oblivion on the lowest settings...

Those are nice comparisons. Wow... Skyrim's art style looks quite different... in a good way.

The only valid comparison should be Oblivion on the 360

That looks no different than Oblivion on 360, really. So I'd say that's a great comparison. And those Skyrim screens and stills come from the 360, too.

Skyrim is literally leagues ahead of Oblivion, graphically (and in all other ways, I'm sure).

T

Excuse me sir?

OT: I'll see if I can get some Oblivion max graphics screenshots, for a fairer comparison (or maybe medium, those screens were on XBox I think)

Yea get Oblivion on max settings so it'll be a better look, I almost hated Oblivion for a sec but realized it wasn't on max settings.

That would be Much appreciated Medium Oblivion would be perfect considering those Skyrim shots were on Xbox. Inbox me the photos when finshed.

There's no doubt that Skyrim has much better graphics than Oblivion. For me though, it's all about art style / direction and not graphics... so i'm undecided which game I prefer the look of yet.

That person went into a lot of get the comparison to look the same.
Also, a bit off topic here. I find it kinda sad that I know where something is in like 90% of all OB screens.

For the record, Oblivion on 1080i is 100% worse then Oblivion with the 360 set to 1360 x 680 (or what ever). The 360 can look really nice for what it is when setup correctly.

And the screenshots used in this comparison aren't setup well. I would post Screenshots if I knew of a way to get them from my TV onto here.

Crap man, I haven't installed Oblivion on my new computer, I'll have to find the disc first.

Wow, that's the lowest setting on Oblivion? I thought the 360 version was the lowest setting (which is what I play), but those screens are much worse.

Wow, the thing that strikes me the most from those shots is that the lighting in Skyrim is going to be amazing :lightbulb:
