Alright, so i was watching videos on youtube and came across the butt licking joke about khajiits. What form will racism take in skyrim. Will it just be a subtle elitism by nords, or like in morrowind the full blown enslaving on racial grounds.

I think it should be subtle with a minority of areas with big problems like Leyawiin and the horrific wife of the Count. She was easily one of my most loathed characters in that game.

It definitely shouldn't be universal either. The racists make a bad name for others of their race, but it shouldn't dominate the game's society in my opinion.

As far as Morrowind goes what goes around comes around, I think that society got what it deserved. I don't want to see anything quite as hideous as that culture in Skyrim, other than in pockets of outlaws.

Redguard don't like Imperials.

Woodelves hate Kahjiit and vice versa

Argonians hate Dark elves

Nords hate all elves

Bretons/Redguards/ Elves hate Nords

grant it, its pretty subtle...not an all out war

As Skyrim is the land of the Nords I think we'll see a lot of racism against the Elves in the game...

I wonder what the Nord perspective is on Bretons. Bretons come from Manmer and are a mix of Nede (Nord) and Elf.

Any thoughts?

Nedics aren't Nords, There were Humans in Tamriel before the Nords Hopped over here.

They probably don't hate them, but find them weak and wussy with there reliance on magic and girly hands.

Well, the way I see it is that Argonians like Khajiits and Khajiits like Argonians and they both hate every other race while all other races worship them.

Ah so the common perception of Orcs as racist against all other racists is merely projection. They in-fact have no racial biases (not even positive biases for fellow orcs) while they suffer nearly universal discrimination.



If you look at the reaction table, Orcs appear to be posess the most egalitarian views of themselves and the other groups by far. NPC orcs have standard 0 reaction modifier for all species/ethnic groups and don't have the customary +5/+10 for those of the same group even.

I think that Khajiits will hate everyone and keep acting as if they were superior (Sometimes I can't ffffcking stand them on Oblivion) specially argonians and dark elves... those are the biggest racism problems in Cyrodiil.

Anyway we play now in the nord's homeland so we can expect them to have some advantage. (Finally because I remember the nords to be pretty mistreated too)

But Khajiits are superior (excluding Argonians). :intergalactic:

According to that table, no race dislikes Bosmer. I refuse to believe this
