My girlfriend is in the US as an au pair, and will be there until June next year...so safe to say she doesn't really care as long as my other relationships are virtual ones :D I'm gonna use Skyrim as a substitute for six...my thumbs are gonna be so numb!

I have no girlfriend, although my husband would most definetly enjoy that scenario.
He and I will probably have to schedule playing times when it comes to Skyrim.

I actually have to buy 2 copies otherwise I'd have to share the ps3 with my wife. She's going to be playing her copy on the Xbox.

Yup, same here. I plan to pretty much stay this way for the rest of my life, i'm just not interested in relationships.

i agree that having a girlfriend/wife/boyfriend husband can be a bit tough at times..... but being alone can have its problems too.....

I don't have a girlfriend at the moment and i wont be getting one until after January. The thought of balancing Skyrim, girlfriend, and school all at the same time is mind boggling.

I wonder how many of these partners actually meant it when they said that they enjoyed watching them...

My girlfriend said the same thing, and I didn't believe her, so I asked again and she said "Well........".

So while shes around video games are completely out of the question, not that I'd rather spend time with them than her, its just I was hoping she might enjoy my hobby.

I was trying to find a new video uploaded to youtube on something different about skyrim.
Ended up watching this one with a guy talking about greybeards.
My girlfriend was sitting next to me going, "what is this, This guy believes in greybeards? what are greybeards? WHAT IS SKYRIM?"

She thinks it's pretty silly to be this excited about a video game. She plays call of duty and does about three moves in mortal kombat but that's about the extent of her gaming.

Let's just say my girlfriend thinks I have no life xD and I'm going to prove it to her when 11.11.11 comes!

She really dislikes computer games... or games in general... we're quite the opposites in this manner. She loves going to clubs and dance, I don't (only hip hop clubs, and even then I don't REALLY like it...). I love DnD, computer games, board games, martial arts, etc... she doesn't.

Please remind me why I love her again... Damn it, I already know the answer to that >_>"

Well, seeing as how I am "the girlfriend" I guess I'll just say this,

I'm going to eat my dinner with my family, go to sleep in order to be awake in time to drive over to my local GameStop at about 11 PM, where I will most likely bring hot cocoa for everyone else waiting for the most epic of all games releasing in November, and we will drink merrily before attaining our prize, going home, and staying up playing said prize until our eyes feel like they're going to explode.

And my boyfriend will get over the fact that he won't see my face for days. :3

My lady knows what's up, however I suspect I won't get that much time to myself for it, so if I can get it off steam for a midnight release you better believe I'll be staying up for that.

My girl knows I make machinima so all I have to do is say that I'm working.. even if I'm really playing. :whistling: I usually try to get her playing too but I know she won't be interested in Skyrim but she loves L.A. Noire. Then she found out how to make the partner drive and skip action sequences. .______.

So Skyrim is loveless and lifeless? Bethesda didn't put any love into the game, and its just a dull, boring game?

HERETIC!

No Skyrim isn't loveless and lifeless, but what it's composed of is...a bunch of moving parts and code. The illusion of life can never replace real life, and it should never take precedent over it. Even though I believe this truly, I'll still play a ton when it comes out .

I'll quote my girlfriend

"I'm excited about it because you want it so much, but I know I'm not going to see you for a while even though we live in the same house."

Meh, girls are btches. I'll eventually get out of my whole mourning period thing, but I hope I can keep the lack of a six drive rolling until November... 2013.

That won't happen... :sadvaultboy:
