skyrim and the girlfriend.....

Post » Wed Aug 03, 2011 9:01 pm

What do your girlfriends think of skyrim?
Have any of you warned your girls of 11.11.11? and the epicness that day will bring?
I actually told my girlfriend that there could be relationships in the game she thought that was awesome...
My girlfriend never plays video games but she does enjoy watching them from time to time. and she will actually get into them....

should probably change this to girlfriend/boyfriend/spouse..actually just say significant other to not discriminate :P. anyways my gf just started playing oblivion she kinda enjoys it(her little sisters enjoy it more) but its a bit outdated graphically wise that she cant get into it(gets put off by the goofy faces), her dad made her play ever quest as a kid and its all she ever compares games to..sigh. shes not at all excited for skyrim though and knows i am and is lovingly helping me get through the hard waiting time :)

mine understands it is a hobby I love and as such wouldn't allow me to play it when she's over mine :(

Unless I stick Red Dead Redemption on on my 360 for her, she loves that game :)

Well I'm female my self :D And all the people that are dear to me learned to tolerate my gaming habits or join in :) I know for sure that Skyrim is going to be a fun conversation topic for me and my female friends for a while :)

My Gf "likes" certain video games, but she already LOVES Skyrim lol

I was at the Gym, and she rang me up and said she had to show me : "The most awesome game i've ever seen" (<-- That's a direct quote)! Got home, and she whips up the Skyrim trailer on Youtube :)

Just bought her a PS3 + pre-ordered another copy 2 days ago, so she can play at the same time as i do lol...

I'm getting married on 11/11/11 because there'd be no other way I'd remember me and mines anniversary. And even though I preordered the game the moment it was announced I am not allowed to play till exactly 48 hours after the honeymoon. I've been threatened with magical xbox removal if I don't obey. Though my number one girl does generally approve of games, so I won't likely have to fear divorce soon after we get home.

We don't have a PC in the kitchen so I don't think I'll see her much.

I wish my boyfriend were into video games!
He's a business nerd rather than a games nerd like me, lol.

At least he likes Zelda, there is some hope for him yet... ^_^

I'll try to get him interested when I show it to him, mebbe I can convince him to try it if I lend him the disc for a while.

Well, the closest thing I have is a girl who is a friend, so I'll go with that, but they don't seem to care about Skyrim at all. Not big into gaming.

You should be spending more time with your girlfriend than a video game in all honesty, why spend more time with something lifeless than somebody full of love?

My girlfriend isn't a fan, good thing I'll be at university so it is more of a case of study or Skyrim.

My girlfriend will be pliant and will run around casting spells and dispatching dragons in Skyrim while I control her with my 360 controller... through all the grunts and gasps and the occassional dragon shouts I doubt she will be able to voice dissent.

She'[s extremely happy.....for me! lol

We are going to Malaysia for September. SO I am hoping that will lessen the blow. Because when Skyrim's out, I wont be leaving my gaming room...period.
