Skyrim - Artifacts.

What I loved in Morrowind was the amount of Artifacts in the game, it brings so much more gameplay, in Oblivion they removed probably 1/4 of the Artifacts.
I hope in Skyrim we get to see more Artifacts

I want to see what new things they can come up with rather than re-using the old ones over and over but I wouldn't mind seeing a few of the old ones making an appearance.

I want things like how in oblivion there were ayleid statues, welkynd stones, and varla stones, but more so each artifact has a story like dog tags in GOW.

Um, no? That would make your character WAY too powerful IMO. If they brought back the amount from MW that would sit well with me. And i also agree with brosk, it would be kind of cool to see if they can come up with any new legendary artifacts. Weapon, armor, clothing? Doesnt matter

Well we know we have dwemer ruins and therefore likely dwemer artifacts like in morrowind, which I guess could be like the equivalent of ayleid ruins and artifacts, but the story behind the artifacts is what made them awesome, you could actually read about their history and feel like you were carrying a part of TES history, that and they were usually awesomely powerful :P

In my first Morrowind play-through when I was level 3 I found Umbra. I challenged him to fight and got killed before I could draw my sword. It's a pretty epic sword.
