The Aurora Borealis is a favorite. I've played a lot of games and granted most of them were mmorpg's but I've looked over the shoulders of console junkies in my living room so I think I have a good idea. I know a lot of this game has bland and dark coloring but that makes things like the Aurora Borealis breath taking. I love this game and how not one corner of the world was copy & pasted. Each hill is unique. No two rocks are placed the same. And if I do find a glitch it's only funny not annoying.

The aurora definitely is one my favorite visual features too. While the aurora is a common phenomenon in real life up here in the north, it still is a magnificent addition to Skyrim. It makes you feel like you really are in the north.

It truly is a beautiful game. Sometimes I'll stop in my travels and just stare at the scenery. My jaw drops every time.
