It took a couple of days to get into, but when I did it was like the old magic of morrowind coming back flooding my memories. Skyrim is like stepping through the wardrobe into Narnia - I mean what other games offers a genuine 'experience' that makes you forget you're playing a game? I dont know about anyone else but my time with Skyrim has been filled with giddy awe and wonder, esp when first encountering Dragons, which really are breath taking to behold.
It begs me to question, why are there so many posts complaining about this game? I mean considering the breadth of what it gets right?
I mean my only real complaint is that the combat is not more like Dead island where the phyics gave weight to every blow, making combat a much more visceral experience.
My only rea other complaint is, when in RPG's are the NPC's are gonna feel more like Sims, and less like walking sign posts and quest givers. Interaction with the games NPC's still feels relatively superficial.
Apart from this I cant remember the last game I lost hours of my time to, Skyrim is a rich world full of exciting adventure and wonder IMO, I really dunno why people are pi$$ing on it?
