A game is broken not when something in it doesn't work but when the thing you bought it for doesn't work. If your house is the most important thing to you about the game, then may I recommend Animal Crossing? The things in your post are just minor bugs: annoying, maybe, but nowhere near enough to justify the claim that the game as a whole is broken.
So if you bought a CD from a store and 3 out of the 12 tracks skipped, it still serves it's purpose right?
I am playing again. So whenever I come across the werewolf thing, I will try that. As for the arrows, I am going to do that as soon as I am done killing this [censored] dragon.
