Skyrim Cancelled?!?!

Post » Thu Sep 02, 2010 12:36 am

@Broken Scale, I wonder if some guys are giving you grief because they don't see the humour, or they are angry because the article dared to insult those very same sage and august members of this forum. Actually, who cares, I have a sense of humour, I can take a knock on the chin, I thought it was hilarious, and I would like to thank you for posting it.

Thanks for the support, dude. :)

The reason it was funny is because it was so blatantly obvious that it wasn't true. Lol didn't think people would take offence over a light hearted joke, i thought it was funny though, especially the jab at the forum moaners.

He claimed that although there had been some positive feedback about the game, the general feeling was negative and that the team needed to re-evaluate the reaction from the fanbase.

"We've read all the forum comments and realized that we don't have any idea what we're supposed to be doing", said Howard.

A wise decision. It could never live up to the standards of this community :P

Oh, my goodness, what a bunch of sour grumps some of you guys are! Yes, the joke was obvious, but I thought the way it was written was quite funny. And I liked the stab at those forum people constantly complaining about how Bethesda "doesn't get it". I liked it.

Guess it wasn't funny. :(

Oh yes it was!

It's April Fool's Day. This kind of thing is to be expected and anybody who takes it too seriously needs to get a little more fresh air than they're used to.

"We've missed the target on this one. We should have got the community involved earlier. I think we all realise, from feedback we've received so far, that we are all indeed 'lame' and it's certainly true that none of us have girlfriends."

That made me laugh nice one

YOU HAVENT PAID ATTENTIONT

First of all ive adress to the TC twice about it not being his topic your just incredibly unobservant

Second I never claimed i only knew it was him, i read my post again and nothing states the belieif i thought it was his joke

Third that dosent prove anything anyway

As one of the two people who wrote the original news post on UESP, "Thanks" to those of you who have said they liked it. To the others, well I suppose you can't please everyone.

As some have pointed out, we did a TES V story last year too - see it http://www.uesp.net/wiki/UESPWiki:News/Poll_of_Air - and other stories in previous years, although those have all been more UESP-related.

I kinda wish it was true. In the way the UESP article stated it: Re-thinking their approach on the TES games would not hurt.

this was far too obvious to actually be good.

a few years ago Planet Elder Scrolls ran something like THE ELDER SCROLLS V ANNOUNCED, TO BE DEVELOPED BY OUTSIDE STUDIO which actually seemed SORT OF FEASIBLE and was actually pretty good.

i'd be disappointed, but UESP is like Bioware.
